REMEMBER DECEMBER 17?
Have you forgotten that the airplane and Church arose in 1903? The Church arose June 13, 1903 and the noted prophecy of Isaiah 60:8 kindled the fire and brought forth the light to witness the "Arise Shine" of The Church of God of these last days.
Did you know that the book entitled, "A. J. Tomlinson", declared that the Church and airplane go hand in hand and that they are tied together in these last days?
1953 was our golden anniversary and it was during this year that Wings of Prophecy made the Twin-Anniversary Tour to place before the world the fulfillment of Ecclesiastes 10:20 and Isaiah 60:8. It is the responsibility of the office of General Overseer to recognize and keep these prophecies before the people. I was grieved in 1953 during the General Assembly celebration of the golden anniversary of the Church when the General Overseer refused to connect the airplane with this jubilee. If I had not battled my way through the opposition to promote the Twin-Anniversary Tour this connection would have been forgotten. The General Overseer completely dropped its significance in its most important year since 1903. Let us never separate that which God has joined together. Israel never forgot the exploits of God; but, rather used their marking program to keep them forever before the people as a memorial. The "Arise, Shine" of the Church on June 13, 1903 in the Fields of the Wood, Cherokee County, North Carolina and the first powered flight on December 17, 1903 at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, should be celebrated every year. Let our churches everywhere fly the flag in memory of the finger of Almighty God which fulfilled prophecy in 1903.
